When Jesus said, "Go into all the world and make disciples," what do you think he meant? Of course that means that God wants the Gospel to be taken to every nook and cranny where lost people need the gospel. That includes lost tribes in remote jungles as well as lost co-workers in your office.
If you are one of the millions of Christians who wonder if their work is really significant, Sandi Krakowski has some advice for you.
"Maybe you're anointed for business and didn't realize that the CALL OF GOD on your life is right where you work. My advice for you? Do it! Do it with all of your heart."
The apostle Paul agrees.
"Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters" Colossians 3:22-23
In Sandi's blog entitled "Anointed for Business" she writes,
"It is my FIRM conviction that God has called many of us to a place of influence in the world. This assignment is very strategic on God's part and it's in our best interest that we fulfill it. My assignment is in the place of influence called business. I'm also called to media and arts and entertainment."
What is your assignment? Is it business, education, family, media, church? God calls people to these significant places of influence for his kingdom. Read the rest of her article here.
