John Stott (1921-2011) founded the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (LICC) in 1982 with the core belief that every part of our lives comes under the lordship of Christ and that all of life is a context for worship, mission, ministry and active Christian engagement.
Mark Greene joined LICC as Executive Director in 1999 to carry on Stott's legacy. He explains,
Our desire is to see Christians grow as faithful and fruitful followers of Jesus, making a difference wherever they are - home, work, college, club - on the 'frontlines' of today's world, wherever they spend their waking hours.
Greene has written many books that help Christians understand that their work is a holy calling, including his latest, Fruitfulness on the Frontline. The book will expand your horizons and lift your spirit as you learn how God can and does work in and through you in your daily life -- no matter what your occupation. He discusses the book in this short video interview.
